- Block out sound with noise canceling features on headphones
-Put on White/Brown/Pink Noise/Video Game Sound track, or use a focus playlist
- Use an app like focus at will to tune out distractions
-Turn it off or on silent and flip it over so you can’t see the screen. Use checking it as a motivator to get through the task.
-Block Notifications from nonessential applications or nonemergency contacts
-Schedule a good time in the day that your going to check social media/emails
- Explore Social Media Blocker apps such as Freedom, StayFocused or RescueTime
