Service Description
Kathleen Kennedy M.Ed. Parenting, Study Skills Coach, Adult Professionals Two principles guide my work as an executive function coach: “work smarter, not harder” and “living in sync with your values.” Working smarter means using energy thoughtfully to approach tasks with greater ease and effectiveness. “Living in sync with your values” reflects the belief that inner peace comes from aligning how we spend our time with what matters most to us. My goal as a coach is to help individuals explore their values and develop meaningful ways to live in harmony with them. One of my specialties is working with parents. As a parent myself, I understand the demands parenting places on executive functioning. I am committed to helping parents create a life that works for both them and their children. With an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and a decade of teaching experience, I can help you establish household routines that benefit your entire family. I coach parents to set realistic goals, align their actions with their values, and approach both work and home life with clarity and confidence. Supporting parents in achieving balance and thriving is at the core of my work. I also specialize in working with college students. Over the past decade, I have taught master’s-level courses in the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University and American University. In this role, I’ve supported students—both with and without ADHD—as they navigated demanding academics alongside competing priorities and tight deadlines. Coaching sessions are 50 minutes. Accountability check-ins and messaging support is provided between sessions, so you can continue reflecting and problem-solving during the week. Coaching is pre-paid $450/month, and each month includes three individual sessions. We ask clients to commit to least two months, but there is no limit on how long we continue.
